Wyatt Eddy (b.1975) is an artist based in Jacksonville, Florida. His work combines hand-dyed batik fabric with acrylic, inkjet transfer, and other media to create vibrant 2D and 3D forms. His juxtaposition of abstract backgrounds with iconography in the forefront speaks to duality, chaos and order, and humanity’s attempts to control it all. Within this construct, he explores themes of self, interpersonal relationships, nature, environment, and sociopolitical issues.
